If they are not covered under most dental insurance plans, the final bill can be quite costly to do.
If you really are in the market for teeth whitening, bleaching, or laser treatments, there are other alternatives that will be more agreeable to your pocket book. The first option is to purchase a teeth whitening, bleaching kit that you can do in the comfort of your own home. These kits usually come with some bleach solution and mouth trays that you fit to your mouth. You then add the solution to the trays and place them into your mouth and sit for a set amount of time. You typically need to do this for about fifteen minutes at a time and may want to do this when other people will not disturb you. Another alternative is to go so some salons that offer laser treatments to whiten teeth. Although this might be cheaper than a dentist, please select your salon very carefully. You will want to make sure the salon has good references and their technician is licensed to use the lasers.

I will always say this: hydrogen peroxide. It’s that cut cleaner that comes in the brown bottle. No, it’s not dangerous to put in your mouth. I recommend using peroxide because it’s cheaper than the other teeth bleachers, and it doesn’t cause mouth sensitivity like the other products. And it does work, people notice my teeth are whiter.
